Colorado Kids Cancer Association is a gathering of organizations that provide resources and assistance for families affected by pediatric cancer. CKCA exists to help you find the resources available to you and your family during this challenging time.

We can help you:

  • Find providers of financial or prescription assistance
  • Find housing solutions if you need to travel into Colorado for treatment
  • Get your child to a camp
  • Find support groups
  • Locate sibling and family support
  • Find activities to do with your child

The CKCA community consists of independent member organizations and advocates each working to provide assistance for children and young adults diagnosed with cancer, their families and caregivers. The following organizations are Member Organizations of the Colorado Kids Cancer Association:

Cops Fighting Cancer

Our goal is to bring awareness to the community and help Colorado families through hope, support and compassion.

Nighthawk Ranch – Provide a safe, healing environment for 10-18 year olds recovering from cancer with the goal of increasing self-esteem and hope for the future.
Wapiyapi – Fostering friendships, fun and healing outside of the hospital for families facing childhood cancer through an exceptional camp experience.
Bags of Fun – Delivering a Bag of Fun to every sick child whose health and happiness is both compromised and threatened.
BraveHoods – Gifts hooded apparel to kids with cancer, survivors and siblings. To date, over 6000 BraveHoods have been gifted to kids all over the country. We also sell our hoodies and for each one sold, one is donated.
Brent’s Place – To provide Safe-Clean housing and improve the quality of life for children and families living with cancer and other immunocompromising conditions … one day at a time. 
Heartfelt Hugs – Helps siblings (ages 8-17) of critically ill children who are in treatment, off treatment or angels to have fun free event days where they are the focus.
Heroes ForeverProvides pediatric cancer patients and their families support and recreational activities.
Shining Stars Foundation – Transforming lives through year-round recreational and social programs for children and their families challenged with pediatric cancer or another life-threatening illness.
Team Nathaniel – Provides financial assistance to families during treatment, distributes legos to children in treatment, and raises awareness about funding needs pertaining to pediatric cancer.
Foundation for Addie’s Research – Spreading awareness about Hepatoblastoma (pediatric liver cancer) and bringing more drugs to clinical trial through pre-clinical research.
Morgan Adams Foundation – Supports laboratory and clinical research in the area of pediatric cancer, with an emphasis on brain tumors, spine tumors and central nervous system tumors.
National Brain Tumor Society – Invests in, mobilizes, and unites our community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and care partners.

Angel Flight West – Delivers health and hope using donated flights to serve those with healthcare or other compelling human needs.
Daniel’s Care Van – Providing transportation to kids and young adults with cancer and other critical illness to and from their outpatient appointments.
